Want to add a border to your Google Doc? While Google's word processing app has no obvious border creation feature, you can still insert page borders, text boxes, and picture borders using other tools. Read on to learn the easiest ways to add borders in Google Docs.

• Click the Insert menu and select Drawing >New.
• Select a border shape from the Shapes menu.
• Draw your border in the editor and click Save and Close.
• Set the border to appear behind the text.
• Drag the side and top handles to adjust the border size.

Drawing a Border
